Rubina Kauser MSc., MS, Ph.D.
Rubina is a clinical psychologist and in the process of registration for supervised practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has received a double Masters in Psychology (MSc. Psychology from the University of the Punjab) and (MS in Clinical Psychology from the Government College University Lahore) from Pakistan. Rubina has received a doctorate from the Philipps University Marburg, Germany. She has also designed and implemented a Post-doctoral research project in the field of migration, parenting practices, and child development, in Germany.
She is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Rubina has vast experience of dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, anger management, and acculturative stress. She help parents while dealing with their children because this was the focus of her doctoral and post-doctoral research projects. The inferences of both projects have improved her knowledge and expertise based on how she can help families manage their relational problems with their children and reduce the likelihood of juvenile delinquency. Rubina has published her work with leading peer reviewed journals.
Rubina believes that there is no single approach for everyone. Therefore, she uses an eclectic approach while considering the needs of clients. She has a firm belief in the respect, and confidentiality of clients and work with clients to empower them to manage their problems.
